When the curious girl realises she is trapped under glass.

Please Touch the Glass by Svenja Pitz, SUPERIOR magazine March 2012

Museums are one of my favourite pastimes, and I have a particular fondness of Natural History and Zoological specimens. I begin my placement next month at the Cambridge museum of zoology and although it won't be anything as glamorous as this, I am still terribly excited.

What do you go home to?

The past week has been pretty wonderful, Karl came to visit me for the week, which is always my favourite. There's always plenty of tea drinking, film watching and wandering about. It's the little things. The cherry on top of the week was a spur of the moment trip home and a few museum visits with my Mum. Above is from the Museum of Zoology in Cambridge.

A few bits I picked up on our adventures, an embroidered collar, a morticians lens and beaded purse. I'd been coveting the embellished purse for a long time, the shell colours are so pretty and I always think they are wonderful for keeping treasures safe.
